We were recently consulted by someone with a large debt, who is considering bankruptcy, but whose financial situation may change significantly for the better in the near future. The chance of a positive change was concrete and the person therefore had a reasonable possibility of being able to resolve the debt without bankruptcy in the near future. The person made the decision to wait and see before deciding. This is one of the few cases that we see where a delay is a sensible risk to take.
Our involvement so far has been free. We received a very nice thank you note:
Thanks for the work you do, it is incredibly stressful to be in this position and I appreciate your time,
