The IRD has wide ranging powers to obtain the details of student loan debtors who live in Australia. The ATO is empowered to provide the IRD with any of the following details:
- unique identifier
- date of birth
- personal telephone number
- work telephone number
- mobile telephone number
- residential address
- email address, and
- date of death.
